We are passionate about history at Jewellace - and although it is wrong to yearn for bygone times a healthy interest in the lessons learned by our ancestors is no bad thing.

Jewellace is currently working on a range of pendants in Tudor style - Inspired by portraits and historical records.

Scottish pearls and Scottish/Welsh gold had long been valued commodities in British history.

During Elizabeth’s Reign (1558 - 1603), trade routes with China flourished and Chinese pearls became readily available and highly fashionable.

We have chosen classic colours of pearls for our Elizabethan designs.

For historical accuracy these pendants should be worn as a focal piece on a strand of pearls or ribbon.
